This document is to outline how to use Cisco Anyconnect VPN to connect to the home office network.
Procedure/Guide:
- Make sure you have Cisco Anyconnect Installed on your computer. Go to your search bar to search for the application or you can find it in your Toolbar if it is installed and open the application. If you do not have the application installed, submit a helpdesk ticket
- Next, you will need to type in the correct IP and Port number to connect to the home office network. If you have connected before, the port will already be present. If it is not, type in “50.27.150.90:7443” and click connect.
- This will ask if you want to connect. Choose “Connect Anyway” and it will ask for a username and password. This is the username and password you use for your western shamrock account.
- Username: First.Last
Password: AD Password (password you use to login to your computer) - If the above step does not work and you receive an error stating “Untrusted Server Blocked” follow these steps:
- Click on the “Change Setting…” Option
- Uncheck the “Block connections to untrusted servers” option and you should be able to connect now.
- Username: First.Last
- Lastly, when you type in your correct information, Cisco Anyconnect will connect onto the home office network. It will look like this when connected:
